Romance & Roleplay ("we," "us," "our") is a sole proprietorship operated by Brian Hanson. By subscribing at romanceandroleplay.com, you agree to the terms below. We've kept them short on purpose.
The short version: You're subscribing to a monthly (or twice-monthly) scenario mailed to a US address, billed automatically until you cancel.
Cancel anytime, in a couple clicks, from your account. No call, no email required.
Your first scenario is covered by the First Night Guarantee: try it, and if it's not for you, tell us within 30 days of your purchase date and choose — your next scenario free, or a full refund. A refund cancels your subscription.
Romance & Roleplay is a recurring subscription. Depending on the plan you choose at checkout, you'll receive one or two new roleplay scenarios by mail each month, each including guides for both partners. Pricing and frequency are shown at checkout before you pay, and again on your receipt.
Log into your account and open "Manage billing" to cancel — it's the same self-serve portal you'd use to update a card, and cancellation takes the same number of clicks as signing up did. No phone call, no retention pitch, no waiting on an email reply.
Canceling stops future billing. You keep your subscription, and anything already mailed, through the end of the period you already paid for — we don't claw back a month you paid for.
We only want to keep your money if the first envelope actually landed. You have 30 days from your purchase date to try your first scenario. If it doesn't make you both laugh or feel closer, contact us at hello@romanceandroleplay.com within that window and tell us which you'd like:
The choice is yours, not ours. Outside the 30-day window, or after your first scenario, standard cancellation applies (Section 3): you can stop future billing anytime, but past charges aren't refunded.
We currently ship to US addresses only, in a discreet, unmarked mailer. Your first scenario ships within a few business days of signing up; monthly scenarios after that ship on a similar schedule each cycle.
Every scenario, guide, and piece of copy we send is original and copyrighted. Your subscription gives you a personal license to use it with your partner — it doesn't give you the right to copy, post, resell, or share it outside your relationship. We're a small, independent business, and that content is the whole product.
Romance & Roleplay is intended for couples 18 and older. By subscribing, you're confirming you and your partner meet that age.
If we materially change these terms, we'll update this page and, where it affects an active subscription, tell you directly before the change applies.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
